Marion's Gallery Returns Policy

At Marion's Gallery, we are dedicated to providing you with unique, high-quality original paintings and prints by Marion Cross. We understand that purchasing art is a personal experience, and we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction.

Important Notice: No Automatic Returns

Due to the unique and often irreplaceable nature of original artwork and limited-edition prints, Marion's Gallery operates under a strict no automatic returns policy. When you purchase a painting or print from our website or at the Gallery, you acknowledge and agree that returns are not guaranteed.

Process for Potential Returns

If, for any reason, you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please contact Marion Cross directly within 7 days of receiving your artwork. You can reach Marion via marionc@mweb.co.za or telephone: +27 (0) 82-553 5104 or via our contact page 

In your communication, please provide:

  • Your order | receipt number
  • The title of the artwork
  • A detailed explanation of your concern

Marion will personally review your request and determine if a return or exchange is possible. Please note that returns are considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to Marion's discretion.

Conditions for Potential Returns (If Approved)

If a return is approved by Marion Cross, the following conditions will apply:

  • The artwork must be returned in its original condition, free from any damage or alterations.
  • The certificate of authenticity included with the artwork, must also be returned in perfect condition.
  • The artwork must be securely packaged in its original packaging or equivalent to prevent damage during transit.
  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs and insurance.
  • A refund, if approved, will be issued upon receipt and inspection of the returned artwork.
  • The original shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • A restocking fee may be applied.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

In the unlikely event that your artwork arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, please contact Marion Cross immediately with photographic evidence. We will work diligently to resolve the issue, which may include a replacement or refund.

Commissioned Artwork: 

Commissioned artwork is almost always non-refundable, due to the highly personalized nature of the work.  

Acknowledgement of Policy

By completing your purchase on Marion's Gallery website or at the Gallery, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this returns policy.
